Beginner & Intermediate Skills

Our Beginner and Intermediate Skills sessions teach riders the key skills of mountain biking and give them an opportunity to put them to use on the fantastic trails in and around Melrose.

Beginner Session participants must be able to ride on two wheels confidently and with good control.
Intermediate Session participants are assumed to have some experience riding off road.

Advanced Ride

The Junior Advanced Ride is a guided ride around the trails in and around Melrose, with some challenges thrown in. The session is designed to be lots of fun and full of banter!

This is a fast-paced ride for experienced riders. We assume participants are capable of independently assessing and managing risks and are confident in managing their own safety while riding.
