Riders are encouraged to consider any additional protective equipment that may help them feel comfortable and confident during the session. Ultimately, riders are responsible for choosing the level of protection that best matches their skills, goals and comfort.
What Sort of Bike?
Riders will need a mountain bike in good working order, with functioning brakes and gears. Bikes should be suited to perform well on moderately steep downhill terrain – cross country, trail, enduro or downhill bikes are ideal. Entry-level styled bikes will suffice if ridden with care. Bikes may be either hard-tail or dual suspension types. The ends of the handlebars must be covered with handlebar plugs for safety. If you’re unsure whether your bike is suitable, feel free to contact us.
