Camp Information
This exciting camp in South Australia’s Southern Flinders Ranges region takes kids aged 12 to 16 on an epic three day mountain biking adventure. Based at Kookaburra Creek, participants will get to ride a variety of trail networks in the area including Willowie Forest, Melrose Showgrounds and at the foot of Mount Remarkable. While on the program, riders will also participate in team building games and workshops covering bike set up, basic maintenance and goal setting!
The camp includes:
- Two nights accommodation at Camp Willochra
- Fully catered breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks
- First provided meal is lunch on Day 1
- Last provided meal is lunch on Day 3
- Three days riding in Melrose and surrounding trail networks
- Transport pickup & drop off from City Dirt, Unley Rd
- Accredited coaches & instructors

Camp Information
Embark on a thrilling five-day Mountain Biking journey in the heart of Bright, Victoria! Our action-packed camp takes kids aged 12 to 16 on an unforgettable trip to ride the Mystic Bike Park in Bright. Daily activities include skill development sessions as well as casual guided rides so that participants can learn and challenge themselves while experiencing as much of the amazing Mystic trail network as they can.
Off the bike activities include basic bike setup, maintenance, interactive goal-setting and simply taking in the local scene and attractions.
The camp includes:
- Four nights accommodation at Bright Alpine Fitness Centre & Sports Camps
- Fully catered breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks
- First provided meal is dinner on Day 1
- Last provided meal is dinner on Day 5
- One dinner will be at a local restaurant and not included in camp costs
- Three days entry to Mystic Park
- One full-day of shuttles at Mystic Park
- Transport pickup & drop off from City Dirt, Unley Rd
- Accredited coaches & instructors

Head for the Hills offers many programs to riders with a wide range of interests and abilities. We categorise our programs using particular terms that are outlined below.
Interest - Why do you ride your bike?
| Recreation (Rec): | I ride for fun and/or fitness. |
|---|---|
| Competition (Comp): | I race, want to race or simply like to push myself on the bike. |
| High Performance (HP): | I want be the best racer I can be and will sacrifice nearly anything to achieve my goals. |
Ability - What do you know how to do?
| Basic: | I know nothing. I can ride confidently on two wheels but that is about it. |

| Beginner (Beg): | I have a little bit of experience riding off road, but not much. I can use my gears & brakes and ride on trails about 1 meter wide so long as they are relatively smooth. |
| Intermediate (Int): | I ride trails fairly regularly and feel confident at least some of the time. I can go a little bit fast, but usually only when the trail is fairly straight and smooth. I don't do jumps or drop-offs. |
| Advanced (Adv): | I am quite confident in my abilities and ride rough trails regularly. I can do (or nearly do) small jumps and drop-offs. |
| Expert (Exp): | I am very confident in my abilities and ride extremely rough & technical trails regularly. I can do large jumps and drop-offs safely. |
